Agenda
Here's what we have planned for September 11th & 12th in Burlington
FAQs
Drive will take place in Hula in Burlington, VT. Hula is a co-working space that sits right on Lake Champlain. It’s about a 7 minute drive from downtown Burlington and 16 minutes from the Burlington International Airport. Co-working space? Isn’t that lame and boring? Nope. You’ll see. You’ll be right there with an amazing view for two days right on the Lake (you can pop in if you want; depending on your appetite for nature’s cold plunge).
We have reserved about 100 hotel rooms at Hotel Vermont, Hilton Garden Inn Burlington, and the Courtyard Burlington Harbor hotel. All three hotels are in downtown Burlington, a 7 minute drive/rideshare away from Hula. We’ll provide a booking link in the confirmation email once you purchase a ticket so you can purchase your room. We recommend you reserve your hotel room early because September is a busy time in Burlington. Hula is a 17 minute drive from Burlington International Airport (which is where you should fly into if you’re flying). It’s a 40 minute flight from New York, and a 3.5 hour drive from Boston; or a three day walk if you’re looking to really get some alone time in before the event - but we don’t recommend walking. Staying in downtown Burlington is the perfect option; you’ll be able to walk to the event (or take an Uber). Plus you’ll be surrounded by good places to eat, grab coffee, and explore the beautiful area of Downtown Burlington and Lake Champlain.
Drive starts at 8 AM on Wednesday September 11th. We’ll wrap for the day around 4:30 PM that day with a happy hour to follow. On Thursday we start at 8AM again but will wrap around 2PM if you want to catch a flight out of town Thursday evening.
Yes, absolutely. Both days we’ll have speakers, networking opportunities and breakout sessions you won’t want to miss.
Yes, we’ll serve breakfast and lunch both days at Drive. Coffee/other beverages all day. We’ll also have a happy hour with Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. And we’re hosting an happy hour after the first day that will have hors d'oeuvres; but there’s plenty of local spots for a quick bite or coffee as you need it around town. You will not be out in the sticks searching for food. If you have dietary restrictions, we’ll confirm with you before the event, so don’t worry everyone will eat!
There’s no formal dress code. Wear whatever you’d wear at home. The weather can fluctuate this time of year so a mix of clothing is probably best, but you’ll check the weather before you come up. Also: we recommend bringing someone workout clothes / activewear so you can explore, get around the city, and maybe join us for the morning workout the second day at Drive.
Yes. Hula has areas all around where you can sit, take a call, hop on a Zoom or take a break to answer emails. We will have breaks in the schedule for both days.
We are selling five VIP tickets for attendees. It includes an afternoon with Dave Gerhardt, enjoy lunch and private consulting in front of a whiteboard with him. We'll even drive you from the restaurant to the venue. You can apply here for a VIP ticket.
Burlington International Airport is only a 15 minute drive/rideshare away from The Hula (and about the same to downtown Burlington).
We expect about 175 people at Drive this year.
We do not offer refunds for tickets, but if you cannot attend for some reason you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Just email us and we can set up the transfer for you.
